GRID CONNECTED SOLAR
Grid Connected Solar is the most popular type of system installed around the world and is where you should start if you don’t think batteries will be a requirement. Solar panels are installed on your roof and connected to a grid tide inverter, meaning if there is a blackout, the solar system will shut down to prevent your solar system pushing power into the grid
HYBRID SOLAR
A Hybrid Solar system is similar to a Grid Connected system but also incorporates a backup battery. The energy from the sun is converted into usable power by the solar panels on your roof, which is then converted into usable power by your solar inverter. This usable power can then be used by the house, as required, with any excess being used to charge your battery. Once the battery is fully charged, then any further excess is fed back into the grid where you will received a credit form your energy company for every kWh you supply
AC BATTERY
With this neat little add-on to your existing solar system, a $0 power bill could be achieved. Grid connected solar systems generate the most power during the middle of the day when the family are at work and school. By installing an AC coupled battery, your excess solar power will be used to charge the battery and be there ready to supply energy when your family returns home at night.
EV CHARGERS
If you are looking to buy an Electric Vehicle, then an EV charger is a must for your home. EV chargers can be set to charge your car when your roof top solar system is producing excess power. If a quick top up is required, then a boost charge will draw power from the grid to get you on the road sooner.
